Podcast: Why did Jesus Curse the Fig Tree?

In Mark’s gospel we see Jesus cursing a fig tree (in Jerusalem) for not having figs. The passage even says that it wasn’t time for it to bare fruit. Could you shed some light on what that’s all about?
