Comfort & Shalom – “A Walk in Faith” Documentary

Putting our love for God’s people into action…

“Comfort, O comfort My people,” says your God. “Speak kindly to Jerusalem; and call out to her, that her warfare has ended, that her iniquity has been removed, that she has received of the Lord’s hand double for all her sins.” –Isaiah 40:1-2

For years, the words, “Bless Israel” or “Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem” have been popular in the church. All too often, that’s all they’ve been. Words. Words without teeth. Words without action. At a time when Israel has few friends in the world, her people, more than ever, need to see believers in Messiah Yeshua who will come alongside them to help build up their land; encouraging them, reminding them that they are not alone, inspiring them to have faith in the Holy One, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

The documentary, “Comfort & Shalom: A Walk in Faith” is all about one congregation’s search for practical ways in which they could put their love for God’s people into action.

For the past 12 years, the members of this congregation have worked alongside the residents of Kedumim, an Orthodox Jewish Community in Samaria, Israel, to build a nature park as testimony to the special relationship God built between them. This documentary tells the story of how the relationship came to be and how work on the park has progressed through the years. It is our hope that all who view it will be inspired to take seriously the words of Isaiah 40:1-3 and seek the Lord for ways to put that love into action. We encourage you to download a copy and share it with as many people as you can.
