Podcast: Should We Not Celebrate Christmas?

I thought Christmas was the celebration of Jesus’ birth. I recently learned that the Puritans (who were devoted Christians) would not allow anyone in Massachusetts to celebrate Christmas from 1659 to 1681. What am I missing here?
